Aunt Jenny. She's the one who practically raised Jasper ever since his mom left him for another family. She had all this patience and all this love for the boy. How did all her love turn Jasper into a person like this?
"Jasper!" Aaron yelled. He got up but Jasper gave me another blow on my other cheek.
I clenched my fists, getting ready to punch him in the nose but then he got kicked to the ground by-
"Kosair!"
He got in front of me and signaled me to stay behind.
Kosair sighed and growled. "What an excuse of a human."
That voice also made me want to run to the hills but thank goodness he's here.
"Who the heck do you think you are?!" Jasper got up and Aaron and Timothy try to hold him back.
"Bro let it go," Timothy said as he looked worried.
Aaron trips Jasper off his feet and Jasper lands on the sand, Aaron keeping him down. "You stubborn dog, just stop!" Aaron yelled at Jasper.
Jasper moved to a country where everything comes with a price, where the need to survive to get by. His determination to fight was the only thing that I was frightened of him.
"You're gonna get it" Jasper rolled to the side and kicked Timothy off him. He tackled Aaron to the ground and kicked him in his stomach.
He was a part of a gang which I never really took seriously but...I'm getting scared.
"No one crosses me unscathed!" Jasper goes straight to kick Kosair but Kosair easily caught his foot and twisted him, making Jasper fall to the sand.
"That's original," Kosair said in a bored tone. He pinched a nerve in his neck which made him pass out.
"Kosair-"
"Let's go." Kosair held my hand and the both of us started to exit the beach and head to my house. We were inside my house gate and I let Bruno off his leash so that he can run around.
"How did you know where I live?" I asked Kosair as he tried to calm down Bruno who was trying to play with him.
"I asked my mom for your address." He picked something out of his pocket. "Because I wanna give you this."
Oh?
I looked at him who was looking back at me. He smiled at me gently.
I'm panicking. He smiled at me. He smiled! At me!
I just smiled. "What is it?"
He took my right hand in his and just by this, I was a nervous wreck. He placed a necklace in my hand, silver with a pink pearl surrounded and decorated by different sizes of diamonds.
"This is really beautiful..." I looked at him with a sad smile. "But I can't accept this."
Kosair's smile turned into a sad one. He looked at me with hurt in his eyes.
"Why?" he asked silently.
"Kosair...I can't accept this gift. It's too beautiful." It really was too beautiful. "Where did you get this?"
Kosair looked at his left. "Let's just say that it's priceless."
"Wait...are these stones..." I started.
Kosair took the necklace from my hand and went behind me to put the necklace on me.
"Real? Yes." Kosair went in front of me again and I just looked at him in shock.
"But I-"
"Kosair! Emergency!" The both of us looked outside and there was Levi who just got out of a really expensive-looking car.
Kosair just shot a smile at me and waved goodbye. "See you soon."
I felt butterflies in my stomach.
I waved goodbye as they drove off.
Then, I looked at the sky and laughed sadly. "Not this again..."
"I'm falling in love."

Someone's POV
"I can't believe you're actually falling in love."
"My brain is with my heart. They are saying the same thing."
"At least she looks decent."
"Hey"
"She's beautiful..."
"What if I'll take her from you?"
"OwO"
"Don't you dare."
He chuckled. "We'll see."
I growled. "I'll kill you. I don't care if you're my brother."
"Hmm? I was just joking. You're still too young tho. You know the rules after you cry a pink pearl."
"He's right. Time is ticking."
"It's alright."
"Time is running out."
"Ticking"
"It's still a lot of time."
"Is it?"
I swallowed a lump in my throat but remained confident with my choice. "Yes...yes it is."
