Third Person's POV.
"Don't end the call,"Darhl said, and that made glamour curse at him through her mind.
"Could he-" Glamour started to say but quickly stopped and covered her mouth with her hand before the word would get out.
Glamour thought that there was a hidden camera in her room, one in which her dear Husband had planted according to her thought, and that made her get an creepy feeling because of it.
Darhl who was listening to her thoughts was finding the whole thing funny and he couldn't help but keep smiling to himself as she kept on having different forms of conversations in her head.
Usually, Darlh would easily get bored from listening to peoples thought most especially humans, because they didn't think about anything other than money no matter how they appear like they don't really give a damn about it.
However listening to the inner voice of Glamour was always like watching or rather listening to a comedy because her thoughts are just so weird that he at times find it hard to understand what they really are about.
He could still remember the day they got married, and he had tried to listen to her thoughts. It was while they were in the car on their way to their supposed honeymoon after their wedding.
She had been thinking of how tragic her life had become, but then she suddenly started to think of her favourite pop Candy. like who the hell thinks of candy when they feel their life is over Darhl had thought to himself and for a moment he thought he must have married a sociopath.
Darhl couldn't listen to her keep torturing herself for any much longer, so he decided to tell her to stop searching for something she'll never find because it was never there to begin with.
"Stop searching for a hidden camera, you'll never find it because I didn't install them," He said and that made Glamour stand completely frozen to a spot.
Oh my God, I married a psychopath, of course, I did what was I expecting getting married to someone who I know nothing about, Glamour thought in her head which was heard clearly by Darhl who had been listening to her quietly through the phone.
Glamour cleared her throat before speaking, trying to hide the slight trembles from her voice.
"What do you want," Glamour said trying to sound confident.
However Darhl knew she was scared because he could pick a few trembles from her voice, plus he could hear her thoughts clearly through the phone like she was speaking to him.
"Calm down little Missy, I only called because you refused to invite me to the party you're family was throwing," Darhl said trying to get her to calm down.
"You better start counting your days before you come back because I'm going to make sure I kill you," Glamour said but her treats just made Darhl smile through the phone but of course she didn't know about that.
After Glamour dropped the call, Darhl just couldn't get rid of the smile on his face and he felt that maybe being married to her wouldn't turn out so bad after all.
Darhl had completely forgotten all about the reason why he had called her because of the conversations they had. However, he didn't bother too much about it because he knew it was easy information that he could actually obtain any time he felt like it.
Darhl was sitting on the sofa while he made those calls but after dropping the call, he got up from the sofa and decided to leave the Bahamas early.
"How about I make her wish come true, see if she can actually kill me," Darhl said calmly before walking out of his room.
Outside the room, Larry almost ran into him with the jug he held in his hands and the crimson stuff inside the jug almost spilled on Darhl's Armani suit.
Darhl knew no one would dare run into him unless it was Larry so he tightened his lip and gave him a hard look.
Larry had bumped into him, because his vision had become blurry, but he was still able to see Darhl's tightened lip so he also smiled back and then raised the jug in his hands, before saying "here's your meal."
Darhl didn't want to have it anymore so he just waved Larry off and went ahead and stood in front of the elevator doors, but before Darhl would walk into the elevator, he had the shattering of glass and that made him turn his head abruptly to see Larry on the floor holding his hands to his head before he let out a loud shriek.
Darhl swooshed over in a blink and bent down to Larry's level.
"What's going on with you," he kept asking Larry but Larry was in too much pain and he was screaming so loud that he couldn't hear anything.
Larry felt like his eyes were on fire, but it was only a feeling because there was no fire in sight.
Larry had never felt any pain as close to this before, not even when he was dying while he was still human.
The pain had started from his eyes, but then it slowly travelled to his head, before it moved over to his stomach; the place his invisible tattoo had been.
Larry immediately doubled over in pain his hands leaving his head and went directly to his stomach.
His stomach felt like someone was burning it, inscribing something into it.
Larry's eyes were shut tightly as he went through all these pains and when he couldn't take any more of it, he passed out completely on the floor.
A few other vampires had gathered around after hearing the shouts that were coming from the penthouse.
Darhl picked up Larry from the ground effortlessly and took him into the room he just left.
He placed him on the bed, and just before he would move away to call Karl, he noticed something weird, and that made him freeze in his steps as he bent a little to look at it closely.
