Chapter 26 - Doing what you like really hits differently...

Glamour's POV

I and Maya went to the mall to buy a few things we were going to use for decoration, and I was so excited.

The feeling of doing something you really love doing just kinda hits differently than any other feeling in this world.

Even though we didn't write any list of the things we were going to need, we were still able to buy the few basic things needed for decoration.

While we were shopping, I decided not to think of my life's situation and how angry I was just a couple of minutes ago.

The idea of starting to decorate the whole house made me really excited, even though I know how much of my time it was going to take, I was still super excited, and not the thought of Darhl or anyone would be able to get rid of that excitement.

After picking up a few things, I asked maya to drive us over to a phone shop so I could get a new phone as I do not have anyone currently, because I shattered the one I was using just a few hours ago.

At the phone shop, I got a Samsung phone, the latest one as of now, and then we went back to the house with Maya.

But Maya claimed she had something she needed to do at home, so she said she wasn't coming inside with me.

I called one of the workers to help me bring the stuff we bought inside before I went inside myself.

When I walked in, I saw mom talking to Mrs. Butter, maybe telling her she and her team were going to be in charge of the meal at the party.

I didn't see Dad, because I knew he wasn't someone who enjoys having a party, and most times he just stays hidden in his room when mom throws one.

I wanted to walk past mom because I didn't want her to talk to me about the conversation we had this morning, but then she stopped talking to Mrs Butter and asked me to come meet her after I dropped the things that were in my hands.

I only nodded after she said that because I didn't want to tell her anything.

I went into the storage room and dropped the stuffs I was carrying and then removed my phone from the pile before going upstairs.

I dropped the phone inside my room before going back out to meet mom.

She was sitting in the sitting room downstairs, and appeared to be in deep thought when I walked down the stairs, so I went to sit in another sofa that was close to hers because I didn't want to stare right at her when she looks this down it would only break my heart.

Whenever mom and I have a little disagreement, she's the one who always try to make amends first because I'm always too stubborn to go apologize except I know I fucked up real big.

"Honey," Mom started to say and I know she was probably going to apologize but I didn't want her to.

"Mom, you don't have to apologize, just don't tell me I have to see a therapists I'm not sick you of all people should believe that," I said quickly before she says the words.

"Honey, we are not saying you're sick, but you're panic attacks are just getting worst by the days, and that's not really a good sign," mom said slowly, her voice sounding like she was at the verge of breaking into tears, and then she reached out to take my hand into hers.

"Please just see the doctor at least once, then you can decide if you want to continue going or not, please honey do it for us," Mom added while looking at me with pleading eyes.

I was quiet because I really can't say no to my mom when ever she was asking me to do something, but one thing they don't know is that talking about that incident is the biggest trauma that they should be afraid of.

The incident have been buried deep down inside my head, somewhere I never look, and now that they were suggesting I see a therapists, it's like they were telling me to dig up those painfully traumatic events.

I didn't tell my mom that though, instead of saying no, I just told her okay and that I was going to try going to at least one session.

Even though I agreed to her request, I didn't intend to really say anything to the therapist if I were to go there.

Mom was happy that I agreed, so she started to talk about the party and things we needed to get, and how she wishes to see Hamdi's girlfriend which I know he probably doesn't have because he claims he didn't want to date anyone he was not going to marry, but I'm guessing mom doesn't know about that.

After we finished speaking with mom I got up and went upstairs, bit I didn't go to my room, I went directly to Hamdi's room not wanting to be alone.

"Dee, are you inside," I yelled from down the hallways before reaching his doorstep and I saw him stick out his head from his room while looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Need anything Munchkin," he yells back at me and I sprinted over wanting to go smack his head for calling me Munchkin but he ran back inside and slammed the door before I got there.

I started to bang on the door with my fist when I got there, but he was just cracking up inside without opening the door.

I saw a few workers walk past me watching me with side eyes bit none of them stopped, because they were probably used to the site in front of them.

"Say pretty please, and I might open the door for you, "Hamdi said, and I just yelled back.

"Just open the damn door Dee," and then he opened the door to let me in.
