Eric's POV
#previously
The smiles, the laughter and all the crazy things we did together were definitely not a lie, but I guess it wasn't strong enough because if it had been I shouldn't have been able to see another girl in my eyes the way I saw Keerah just about a month into our break up.
Thinking of Keerah made me realize that this was even more complicated than it seemed.
I know the wise decision was for me to let go of her and forget about all the promises I made her, but for some odd reasons, I don't think I could do that even though I know what exactly it meant for me to keep holding on to her.
I arrived at Jade's place in no time and even though my thoughts weren't entirely gathered, I knew I had to start by apologizing for accusing her of doing something that disgusting.
I parked my car in her driveway, and took a deep breath, before getting out of it and going into the building complex.
