Chapter 30 - Little Missy

Third person POV...

"I was dead, I thought that was the end of my immortality," Larry said fear evident in his voice.

Darlh only looked at him without saying a word, he only tried to check and understand what had changed about him but everything looks normal so he decided to ask him.

"What do you think changed about you," Darhl asked and Larry thought about it for a while before saying.

"Nothing changed really except for this," Larry said pointing to only changes he noticed...

****

Larry had raised his shirt up slightly, pointing at the only change he had noticed.

Dharl looked at him like he was crazy or something because he couldn't see anything where Larry was pointing.

"Are you sure it's not your head that's messed up?" Dharl said calmly and went over to sit on the only sofa that was present in the room.

The whole room was painted in burgundy, the comforter was blood-red, the huge curtains;which were all let down, were also blood red, and the only thing that wasn't red was the sofa which Dharl was seated on.

After Dharl sat down, Larry looked down at his stomach confusingly and then back at Dharl.

"Wait don't tell me you can't see this," Larry said again still pointing at his stomach.

Dharl looked at him, and then back at his stomach where he was pointing and then sighed a heavy sigh.

Dharl felt like Larry was not being serious like always, so he disregarded the conversation, and asked Larry where his meal is.

"Where's my meal," He asked after looking to the bedside table where it's always been kept and seeing that it wasn't there.

"You mean the disgusting thing you always drink?" Larry asked and a frown made its way to Dharl's face and when Larry saw that,he quickly raised his hands up above his head before speaking again.

"You do know I was dead for days right, and I just woke up, I don't think you should be asking me for that at least not right now," Larry said and Dharl just sighed again before shaking his head.

Dharl couldn't understand how he became this lenient with Larry, which was a mistake on his own part, because it seems Larry just never takes him seriously, however, he doesn't really dislike it that much.

"But wait, like you're seriously not seeing this?" Larry said again after a short while still pointing to his stomach; his lower abdomen to be more precise.

"Larry put your fucking clothe back down before I punch you right in the gut," Dharl said calmly and that made Larry let down his clothe.

Larry couldn't understand why Dharl was not able to see the tattoo on his abdomen when it was clearly visible to him, and that made him wonder if his brain was making it up, or if it was only visible to his eyes alone.

Although Larry could see the tattoo, he didn't know what the tattoo was because it seemed kinda incomplete, as if someone started painting it and then they stopped before the drawing would take form.

Larry knew it was weird but he decided not to think too much about it, and then decided to ask Dharl why he made him in charge when he knew clearly that no one really liked him from the groups of vampires over there, plus Bash was more fit for the role than he was, and he's not even a born vampire.

The fact that Larry was not a born vampire was one of the biggest weakness the other vampires used against him, and they only learned to live with him only because it was Dharl who turned him.

Usually turned vampires are those that work as maids, security guards or those that carry out small task for the community, but larry was never made to play any of those roles because he was turned by Dharl.

"Because I felt like appointing you, " Dharl said and then motioned his hand for Larry to leave him alone.

Larry didn't say anything further, he just turned and went outside the room and then closed the door behind him.

Dharl closed his eyes and thought back to the call he had received a few hours ago, and then he decided to call his little Missy.

He brought out his phone from his pocket and dialled her phone, but it wasn't connecting, and he knew she probably stopped using the one he got her now that she's back home, so he called Dale and asked him to get her number from her friend.

Dale sent him the number after a few minutes and when the phone lit up in Dharl's hands, he smiled a small satisfied smile before dialling the number Dale just sent him.

"Hey, you need to come over early tomorrow, or I would come to pick you up, I saw a few things we need to get, "Glamour rambled on into the phone the moment she picked up, and Dharl just kept smiling while listening to her ramblings.

After Glamour was done rambling, she waited for her friend to reply, but the line was quiet, and that made glamour speak again, thinking that maybe her friend was caught up doing something after she dialled her phone, and she didn't know that she had already received the call.

"Wait was I talking all to myself, " she asked and then brought the phone from her ear to check the screen, and her eyes went wide at the foreign number.

Even though Glamour didn't know who the strange number belonged to, she had a strong feeling that it was probably the person she didn't want to speak to right now, and she decided to off the phone.

However, before she could end the call, Dharl who was listening to her thoughts through the phone spoke making her halt mid step.

"Don't end the call, " were his first words to her, and that caught Glamour's attention because she never announced that she was going to end the call, so how did he know she was about to.

Just then, a thought occurred to Glamour, and that sent shivers down her entire spine.

"Could he-" she started to say quietly but then shook her head not wanting to believe her imaginations right now.
