Third persons POV,
Inside the cave, was a castle made of old bricks, and it had two female fairies at its entrance, and they tried to stop Darhl from going inside until a voice spoke saying, "let him in."
The fairies which both had different colours of wings representing their specialty, stepped aside to let Darhl into the castle.
Darlh walked inside the castle; a place that looked a little damp from the water that sipped into the walls from the waterfall that was beside the cave.
But the moment he was inside the castle turned into multiple tunnels.
Dahl had to take numerous turns after turns the moment he got into the palace before he was able to reach the room where the voice that had spoken was coming from.
Darhl had to keep moving swiftly in the tunnels because they kept changing and if he wasn't fast enough then the tunnels would completely swallow him.
To any other creature who doesn't live in that world, the tunnel would be doom for them.
Any creature aside from those allowed inside,ย that tried to get inside the castle would never be able to do so because it would appear like an endless maze leading them to become lost within it's vicinity until they finally gave up.
But Darhl, being a vampire and all could see the right tunnels because he's been inside it before and also because he has permission to get in.
"Why did you take Larry's body,"ย Darhl said the moment he finally made it inside the room he had been trying to locate.
The room was a throne room, and it was nothing like the tunnels Darhl passed through.
The floors weren't damp anymore, and the walls were also covered in silver. The silver was the only form of lightning, illuminating the whole room.
The silver on the walls shone brighter than an actual silver because they were enchanted.
The golden throne was empty, but beside it was a young girl that looked to be in her sixteen stood by a rock that was only a few meters away from the throne.
On the top of the rock, laid a golden crown that had diamond studs well arranged around it.
The girl was the person who asked the fairies to let Dharl in. The girl was dressed in a type of gown that looked like the one that was worn by the natives of the Bahamas in the 1950s.
It was made of fabrics with printed patterns on them, and it was sewn to look very loose around the body.
She stood watching the crown carefully without turning to look at Darhl who was standing at the entrance of the throne room.
This young girl was the queen of that place she was the one who ruled over the creatures of that world, and she might have appeared to be looking sixteen, but she was much more older than that.
"I see you still haven't gotten rid of your weaknesses," the girl spoke still watching the crown that sat idly on the rock.
Darhl ignored her statement and repeated his question that she had ignored instead.
"Where did you keep Larry's body"? He said anger, sipping through his voice as he uttered the words carefully.
Although Darhl always tried t remain calm whenever he was mad, he finds himself losing his cool demeanour each time he was with this person that stood with her back to him.
The young queen knew how much her actions affect him, and how he couldn't stay and wait patiently for her whenever she tries to test his patience.
Darhl was beginning to feel frustrated at the young queen, as she only kept doing other things while completely ignoring his questions.
Darhl usually would have read her mind by now as she wasn't telling him what he wanted to know, but his powers can't work on her, and that only added to his frustration.
The queen could sense this, so she smiled to herself before turning around to face Darhl.
"You're still as dashing as I remembered," she said before motioning for him to come closer to her.
Darhl only stared at her without moving an inch from where he stood, even though all he wanted to do at that moment was to squeeze her neck until she finally lets out the place she was hiding Larry.
"You know I can hear your thoughts clearly right," she said while walking slowly towards Darhl.
"Well that's good because then you know just how much I feel like killing you right now," Darhl said his voice sounding low and deadly.
The young queen only laughed at what he said, but then her laughter halted immediately after she she saw Darhl's scares.
"When do you plan on ever using the ring I gave to you Dhark, is it only when you get a nasty scare that would never heal before you'll realize what you're doing"? She asked him with a frown on her face.
She then goes over to him and rub her hands over his arm making the scare vanish immediately.
"Your friend is safe you know, I brought him back, but I changed a little bit of something in him, you can thank me about that later," The young queen spoke before going back to sit on the golden throne.
"Where is he, what did you do to him," Darhl asked knowing that whatever she did was probably going to be more harmful than good.
Darhl knew the young queen who also happened to be the leader of the Dieza witches to be a sly person who always hides behind her innocent young face that she uses to deceive those that do not know of her true nature.
"I sent him back already, I only took him to remove the werewolf venom from his body. Ah, and you don't need to thank me you're always welcome and you know it," The young queen said while waving off her hand in front of her for emphasis.
After Dharl listened to her words, he turned to leave, but then she said something that made him stop dead in his tracks.
"You know you can't escape your fate forever right, even if you keep choosing to ignore it, it would find you... Actually I think it already did,"...
