When night exactly at 9 pm, Adriana was sleeping Evan in their room which was not too spacious. She leaned against the pile of pillows right next to her son while reading a fairy tale.
"Mommy, why isn't daddy Zach back?" Ask Evan with a blank stare while hugging a small bolster. The boy, who wore maroon pajamas with a moon and star motif, also missed his mother's long-lost lover.
Adriana took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly, feeling the pain that was so tormenting her mind. "One day... One day he will come back and we will be able to be with him."
"Can we take pictures together like a family?" Evan looked up at his mother expectantly.
"Yes ... We can take photos together like before," said Adriana with a steadfast smile remembering the pre-wedding moment with Zach. The memory seemed to bring back regrets why there had to be various kinds of events that made her fail to be happy with her lover.
