Very early in the morning at five o'clock, Adriana woke up hearing the sound of her smartphone ringing in the tune of Ellie Goulding's song "Love me as you do". With her eyes still reluctant to open, she immediately reached her hand towards the bedside table to take the smartphone.
"Hello," said Adriana, who answered the call without looking at the caller's name.
"Hello, honey. Good morning and have a nice day," someone said over the phone.
Adriana opened her eyes when she realized whose voice was on the phone. She turned to look at her phone and saw that the caller's name was Zach.
"You're up this early in the morning," Adriana mumbled, putting her phone back to her left ear and then turning her position aside.
"Even last night I couldn't sleep well because I missed you, honey," Zach said over the phone. It sounded so sweet, it made Adriana imagine that the man was smiling.
