At home, Adriana chatted with Dave on the terrace while enjoying a fizzy drink in a red can. They sat down while Evan played in the living room and Amanda chose to sleep since she just got home.
"Adriana," Dave called after downing his coke.
"Yes," said Adriana without turning around.
"What do you feel now?" he asked.
Adriana was silent for a moment then turned to look at Dave and asked back, "what do you mean?"
Dave smirked and replied, "I mean…Are you feeling better, more used to living without a husband ... I mean without Mark."
Adriana sighed, then downed her drink for a while. "I'm feeling much better and feel that this divorce has indeed brought me well. You see, Evan didn't ask much about Mark even though he never came here again after that incident. I guess Evan and I are pretty used to being without him. We found our happiness."
