Zeir and Agatha arrived at a vantage point just before dark to observe what the road ahead looked like. Surprisingly, at the bottom of the slope, there was a tiny beach with beautiful sand. The stretch of water obscured the remainder of their vision, spreading as far as their eyes could see.
"This wasn't here before," Zeir muttered. "Tomorrow, we will go along the shoreline. After a potential detour, we should arrive at our destination at some point."
"I wonder how long this will take." Agatha sighed. "Maybe I should have let you fly us there."
"No, you made the right decision. Come, let's take a walk on the beach and find a place for the night."
They went barefoot on the beach to feel the scorching sand beneath their tired feet. The experience of walking silently until the sun sank behind the horizon was unique for them both.
