The tall, round towers of the Golden Draconian Palace stood twice the height of the actual palace. Large windows were scattered generously along the walls with huge crenelations for archers. Even though those features seemed deserted, the impact of the view was the same.
After passing through the colossal metal doors, Hope saw the huge statues of heroes and kings which decorated the inner courtyard, memories of glories of the past. She had never paid any attention to them before, but now she was definitely in a better mood.
The Golden Draconian Palace had obviously withstood the test of time. The walls' rocks had weathered, and vines and vegetation had grown inside the crevices, yet this construction would survive for centuries more.
