The lilies that decorated the huge columns and all of the tables stayed true to the bridal colors of white and green. Though the scenery was lovely, Hope knew her attention was already seized by something more intriguing.
Drake wore a long scarlet velour jacket over his black clothes. He kept it open and pulled its collar up just below his ears. Embroidered black flames swirled around the buttonless borders. His black shirt's gleaming buttons shone between the jacket's edges. The wristbands were black and had the same embroidered flames, but this time they were red.
Realizing how well this color made his features stand out, Hope couldn't help but wonder why Drake didn't wear shades of red more often. However, she had to admit that this embroidered jacket was not just any garment but clearly created for a king or a prince.
