The servants were spinning about in a frenzy. Even though it appeared as if they were going aimlessly and weren't accomplishing anything, things progressed. Hope became disoriented, attempting to figure out what was happening and what each of them was doing. In the end, she chose not to bother since she would have exacerbated the situation if she were to intervene.
The altar for the ceremony was adorned with white lilies, as were all the central tables and columns. The chairs were covered with fine white material, tied with green ribbons. Clearly, the colors of the wedding were the colors of the groom.
The servants' anthill was in full motion, while the ornaments and decorations appeared more and more from the top railing where Hope sat and gazed down into the grand hall on the ground floor. She groaned unhappily, knowing that she was more capable of ruining such occasions and preparations than of assisting.
