It's been a week since Xander came by to the cabin, confessing that he wants me for my power. But why though? Why is my power so special to him? As I was in deep thought, I felt something poke at my shoulder.
"You know you need to pay very close attention to your food, or I'll gladly eat it for you." Andrew said as he stuck his fork into my sausage and pulling it away from me. But lucky me I lean forward fast and I pull it off the fork with my teeth. Andrew huffed about it and leaned back into his chair. I smiled, just knowing that I can beat him in some things.
"Why does your brother want my power as a diamond angel for?" I ask sighing aloud. Andrew places his fork down and looks out the window, then looks at me.
"With you as a diamond angel, you can sense the supernatural community anywhere. If he takes you and uses your power, he can be able to fight against his enemies. Maybe even obtain the power and absorb it into himself. Who knows what else he'd want to use it for." Andrew explained. I look down and I go back to eating breakfast. I hope Andrew can fight against him, I just hope.
"Ok little lady, we need sleep!" Says Andrew as he slides into the bed. I smile as I slip in too. Andrew pulls me into his arms and caresses my hair, humming something under his breath. I close my eyes and fall asleep.
Dream Begins:
The darkness is surrounding me, something is here and I just know it. I look around and I see a woman, who looks like she's from the nineteen-twenties. Her appearance is so refined. Her dress was a sparkly pale silver, her makeup was ruby red lipstick, metallic gray eyeshadow, black eyeliner and warm red blush. She also looked to be in her late twenties. She was like a celebrity, or even a goddess.
"Help me, Princess. Help me." The woman said then disappeared. Princess? Who is this Princess?
Dream Ends:
"Stacy, wake up." Andrew called out. I open my eyes and I see Andrew looking at me.
"Are you ok?" Asked Andrew. I nodded and I place my hand on his cheek, something really scared him.
"I woke up and you were saying something that only my family could understand. Did you see anyone when you were sleeping?" Andrew asked me. I nodded.
"Yeah, there was this woman that looked like she was from the nineteen-twenties and she asked me to help her. She also called me Princess." I said to him. Andrew sighed and looked away.
"That woman- was she young, like in her late twenties? And was she wearing a pale silver dress?" Asked Andrew. I nodded.
"Who is she to you Andrew?" I asked him. Andrew looked away and then back to me.
"Is she like an ex of yours or something?" I asked him. He shakes his head and looks at me like I was insane for asking.
"She's my mom. She said that I was going to be with a very beautiful Princess someday and I guess you're the Princess." He says to me. As we sat in the dark and in silence, we hear Andrews cellphone start to ring. Andrew groans and picks up.
"Hello?" Andrew asked.
"Oh hey Pat, what's going on?" I looked at him and he looked irritated, as if my Dad had brought up some bad news.
"I'll put her on, hold on." He says then hands me the phone.
"Hey Dad." I said curious as to know with what's going on."
"Sweetheart, I got bad news. Your Mother was killed by Xander tonight." Dad said in sorrow. My eyes widened and everything was spinning. Tears fell down my eyes as the pain immediately absorbed into my heart and soul.
"Stacy, I'm so sorry." Said Dad.
