An orchestra played a loud tune as a green-haired woman and five important-looking people emerged on a circular platform.
Asahi bounced off his chair, recognizing the woman.
"Is... that, Isa?!"
Aletha raised an eyebrow.
"You know her?"
Kali nodded her head.
"Of course! She's the sovereign of Linuxinia!"
Drimi silenced them.
"Shh. It's beginning."
Isa slowly walked over to the center of the platform and sat on her seat.
The audience went wild and screamed at Isa with an expression of joy. Her ceremonial voice echoed everywhere.
"Greeting everyone! You may know me as Isa, the Sovereign of Linuxinia. Today serves as a pinpoint for this world's future. All of you have been gathered here from afar. To all the people from the nations of Obrus, Destia, Zomrack, Astait, and Linuxinia, I thank you for attending this ceremony."
The audience cheered and applauded, with robotic roars and inhumane shouts resounding over walls.
Isa stepped away from the mic and allowed a beautiful woman with long brown hair, and tan skin, wearing an extravagant golden dress. Zeru, Ubel, and Aurelia jumped out of their seats.
"Zildian?!"
"No way she actually came. I thought she would send her servant to attend here."
Asahi turned over and asked.
"Who's she?"
Aurelia exclaimed excitedly.
"That's no other than The Queen of Zomrack!"
"HUH?!"
Drimi leaned over.
"Shh... she's speaking."
Her orange earrings dangled in the breeze with a beautiful tangerine-colored flower glimmering on her head. Most men screamed at the woman with love in their eyes.
"Marry me!"
"We love you, Zildian!"
"You're a supermodel!"
Zildian rolled her sharp red-rimmed eyes and giggled, stepping forward on the platform and bowing down with her olive skin gleaming under the scintillating sun. Her dazzling golden dress shimmered.
"Oh, please. Thank you so much! You're all so beautiful in your own way. You may know me as Zildian; I am the Queen of Zomrack. Ever since the failure of the first ceremony, I have long-awaited a declaration of peace. It's truly a dream to be here. Through the many wars we've had with the otherwordly creatures, I always wanted us to all be reunited and battle the creatures together."
Another beautiful woman, looking younger than the other one, had skin as bright as her shoes, beautiful round ruby eyes, and silky long strawberry-blonde hair, stepped forward and expressed with a voice matching that of an angel.
"Salutations, everyone!~ You may call me Rinnea, The Princess of Obrus."
Most red-haired people, along with a few anthropomorphic people, all cheered out to her.
Rinnea nodded and smiled, her sweet, high-pitched voice glistening like the several pink roses wrapping around her oversized dress.
"It's my mother's dream to have peace. She isn't here currently because she isn't feeling well. B...But anyway, she said this ceremony was more of a dream for her. Since the chaotic dragon uprising years ago, The Queen of Obrus longed for peace between humans and creatures. I hope we can all get well and live."
The ruby-haired girl, Alai, shouted out.
"Yes! My home country! Go go go!"
"Woo hoo!"
Asahi and Aletha tried to cover their ears as they heard the constant cheers coming from the audience. Telos was more concerned than interested, feeling Asahi's soul tremor within him. He examined the ceremony as all watched the others.
* * * * * * *
The sun was as bright as the sea.
The clouds broke, the audience cheered, and the pool of light shimmered beneath the platform, with the feeling of joy teeming within the air.
The audience couldn't be louder.
As the ceremony progressed, it turned out the other three individuals were just representatives of their Queens; mostly being multiple women having different hair colors (Blue, Red, Green, Yellow) and a Prince. having dark hair.
. . .
"Move out the way!"
It was hard to see the others from Asahi's perspective. People were shuffling everywhere.
While the five individuals walked up to their seats, sounded their trumpets, and began their commencement, all of a sudden, five knights wearing dark green armor hurried to Isa and warned.
"Stop the ceremony! NOW!"
Isa raised an eyebrow. I could just see all the dread on their face.
"Why? What's going on?"
The audience fell silent; the knights' trembling voices echoed throughout the area.
"There's a swarm of creatures breaching into the city. Nearly a thousand of our knights are slaughtered. You need to stop the ceremony, now."
Isa's face broadened in absolute shock.
"But, we were just about to..."
Suddenly...
(BOOM!)
The audience went silent.
A massive explosion erupted far in the distance, releasing a sonic boom into the sky and a gust of purple clouds. Screeches and bitter winds blew over the platform.
Before anyone knew it, the cheerful atmosphere transformed into a dark, menacing tone.
. . .
Asahi and the rest of the group lost themselves in the panicked crowd. He yelled to his sister.
"We need to get out of here, now!"
Loud malicious beastly roars echoed over in the distance. Asahi shoved Aletha down the stairs and screamed.
"RUN!"
Everyone panicked. The siblings saw people scurrying out of place, all panicked and pushing each other, some even fighting to escape.
"What is going on?"
(BOOM!)
A magenta beam fired into the sky, followed by eighteen more shattering the clouds and releasing acid rain.
(BOOM)
(SHING)
(ZRRT)
The sky trembled.
Asahi and Aletha lost track of the group and tried to sprint away from the mess.
Immediately, a fleet of dark clouds rolled in the sky, eating the sunlight and shrouding the city in shadows.
Thunder blasted and tremored the earth.
A fog lifted, bringing with it even more pain, and the pace of the winds brutally increased, shredding trees and pushing even people back.
I could see nothing but hear Asahi's panic.
"W...Where is Drimi? Where is Phthonus? Where is EVERYONE?!"
Aletha shrieked as she dodged a flying carriage.
"I don't know!"
Everyone fled and scrambled in a mess, but suddenly,
(SHRNN)
A dark humanoid creature covered in goop, magenta lines, having eight eyes, a demon horn, and a long tail appeared in front of the crowd. Its whole identity projected an aura of danger to everyone. A menace to society.
"Arise!"
A man yelled as he tried to push it away.
"Move out of the way! My family is in danger."
The monster chuckled and tightened its four-fingered fists. It raised its five arms and announced while they heard women crying in the background.
"Surrender now to the new world order! Embrace the truth of this world! Join u, and we shall bring heaven back to the world!"
The man shook his head.
"NO! You're delusional! Let me pass."
The monster croaked, snarled, and snapped his fingers.
"Very well, ignorant one."
(CROAK)
The creature forced five of his hideous goopy arms through the ground, spewing rock fragments out into the air. A massive wall of oozing withering goo emerged from the soil and lifted up, blocking everyone from passing.
"HEY!"
"LET US GO!"
Despite the forcefield, many tried to break themselves through it. A woman cried as they saw her son screaming at a four-legged monster.
"NO! MY BABY!"
Creatures damaged and razed all the buildings, shattering glass and sparking fires. Aletha looked shocked, trembling in a queasy tone.
"N...No, that can't be. Is that...?" She looked at the sketch she had made before. The lines, shapes, and details matched the figure standing before her. Its tail swooped out, clutched five people, and quickly slew them into dust. Aletha cried out. "I... Is that my drawing?"
Asahi leaped up.
"What?!"
Everything fell apart.
"Look! Over there!" A child expressed.
The wanderers looked back and saw that the entire city was nothing but a pool of madness, chaos, and despair.
From the mountain standing in the background, a waterfall of black monsters dived into the city, sparking a chain reaction of purple explosions. Asahi and Aletha raced away from the creatures, dodged falling structures, pushed themselves through the increasing winds, and ran up the stairs, averting the wall.
Their hearts raced, scrambling as fast as they could without even thinking. The wanderers watched four skinny-legged goopy creatures shatter the buildings and injure more people. But they knew that they couldn't do anything.
While approaching what looked like a tower, a woman masked with strange armor darted toward them and escorted Asahi and Aletha across the rooftops.
"Follow me!"
Her green hair flew with the wind, the glowing green visor illuminated her helmet, and she swiftly summoned two luminescent green daggers. She screamed as Asahi and Aletha jumped from rooftop to rooftop.
"DON'T STOP!"
(ROAR!)
A rampaging tsunami of monsters bustled in front of the woman. She tore pieces of her armor, pounced to the ground, and screamed at the wanderers.
"STAY PUT!"
She shoved her right arm and tore out what looked like gargantuan, glowing roots. Green rays pierced through the thickening branches, and the woman propelled ten more to emerge from the ground and eject more green essence around the area.
The wanderers and I had no idea what the woman did, but it sparked a wave of magic across the entire city.
Suddenly, flames appeared in the distance, followed by sparkling geysers of blue water, pink exploding flowers, silver holographic wolves, floating yellow swords, and green beams. The woman's mouth curved into a smile.
"Yes... just in time!"
Asahi and Aletha backed away from the creatures and screamed.
"Help!"
The woman nodded her head and chuckled.
"You bet!"
She blasted lethal green laser beams toward the creeping monsters, shredding them into particles and knocking them several meters into the sky. As the woman raced to the wanderers to see if they were okay, Asahi noticed something.
A familiar face that had emerald green eyes and bright shamrock hair. He gasped.
"Isa?"
"Come on, we don't have enough time."
Approaching the end of the city, Asahi and Aletha were placed on the ground while Isa and a few recognizable faces unleashed their magical powers toward the army of monsters. It was seen that this group was the same group the siblings encountered before they entered the carriage.
Ubel unleashed his silver holographic wolves, swung luminescent numb chucks, and killed spider-looking monsters approaching a poor group of people.
"Yes! Our magic is back! MY WOLVES, tear each one apart!"
Alai sputtered her exploding lava flower bombs and slaughtered ten four-legged magenta hounds with a smile.
"WOO, HOO!"
Jesica discharged her lavender geysers and tossed a couple of dark monsters into the air, pulling out a luminescent blue blade and slicing each like fruit.
"Uncalled for, but at least it still works."
Aurelia snapped her fingers and summoned a thousand floating yellow swords, slaughtering goopy bats and killing each with a magnificent bow and arrow.
"Absolutely disgraceful to ruin Zildian's performance. Just before the ceremony too."
Zeru cartwheeled across a large roof and summoned a sizeable green hammer, slamming and gouging eighty monsters away from him.
"All of it is back."
"H...How?!"
Asahi and Aletha's eyes twinkled with awe as they saw all the people dispersing their unique magical powers straight to the approaching swarm of monsters.
The trees creaked outside, and the dust was whipped into the air, semi-blinding Asahi and Aletha.
Asahi and Aletha's fear gnashed at their confidence, seeing a wave of fog propel them like a tide washing up on a shore. One gigantic column of violently twisting winds slowly approached the city. Sparkles and magical pink essence swirled around the funnel, illuminating what was behind.
Asahi gulped and froze still with his sister, seeing a gigantic tornado the size of a mountain close to them.
"..." They were speechless.
Behind the sparkling tornado was a vast swathe of destruction, carving the mountains and absorbing everything it came in contact with.
But as the wanderers watched the violent magical tornado swiftly rush toward the city, lances of light suddenly emerged from the sky.
Isa mumbled while seeing gargantuan luminescent green vines race toward the path of the disaster.
"The Sealed Beatific..."
"Asahi, Aletha, what are you doing? Stop standing there! There is a tornado right in front of you!"
When Drimi and the others tried to sprint to them, suddenly... a gust of wind propelled Asahi and Aletha several kilometers upward. They saw the clouds beneath their feet and the entire world too. Both screamed helplessly.
"AHH!"
As Asahi and Aletha's bodies tossed, shuffled, and shoved inside the giant, sparkling vortex, having no idea where they were going, they noticed the sky turned blue, and the chaos below them ceased.
(What?)
Everything but the magical tornado didn't fade away.
It flew away from the city and picked up buildings, trees, rocks, and several people.
Dozens of individuals flew inside the violent tornado with Asahi and Aletha, getting forced out of it and landing in a random place. Kali screamed as she tried to skydive over to Asahi.
"ASAHI!"
Drimi shook her head, flew with the vortex pattern, and hollered to the wanderers with a panicked tone.
"I don't know where we're going and when this tornado will fade away. But I will tell you guys one thing..."
A boulder passed by her face. The sight of the city beneath their feet changed to a wild mountainous area with glistening ponds, geysers, deep valleys, and glass pillars. Asahi and Aletha were caught in the chaos. Hundreds of people flew with them.
"Look!"
The wanderers saw Kali, Ubel, Aurelia, Brunella, Katib, Jesica, Phthonus, Devlin, Pridia, Lamia, Marina, Isa, and many more launched and tossed randomly out of the tornado.
"I can't see you!"
(Fling)
Drimi launched out and descended down. Asahi and Aletha's eyes widened, continuing their long plummet down to wherever they would end up.
With so much confusion bouncing in their minds, before they could see the green mountains beneath them, suddenly... Asahi and Aletha's visions blacked out.
