"It's been a long day." I stepped into Elias' office in the center of the castle. He glanced up not surprised to see me here. "You seem to be busy." I walked over to where he was, studying the documents that were spread across his desk.
"I agree it's been one hectic day. All this day has done is add more to my irritation." He muttered. I picked up a slip of paper from the surface, looking at the damages to the agriculture, it seemed the farms west of us, have been damaged and needed to be restored, except it was an expensive and timely repair. Thankfully, the rest of the farms were left relatively unharmed, since it's usually the farms that feed those in the Captial.
"I can see where you are annoyed, but we should be relieved that there hasn't been more damage to our lands." I replied, setting the paper back on the desk, picking up another. I jumped slightly when his arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me into his lap.
