"Your Grace, you can't be here." A familiar young voice, called out in urgency while shaking me awake. He slapped his hand over my mouth, indicating that we should be quiet, and I widen my arms in alarm before I realized where I was. "Your father ordered us to get you and escape through the woods. We can't delay!" He whispered, and I blinked a couple of times, scanning the dark room.
It was early dawn, the sun hasn't risen yet, but I could hear the people moving along. There were a few strays that were dashing through the woods hearing the hooves of the incoming horses. About twenty people were coming toward this town, and I quickly pushed off of the couch, slipping on my shoes.
