*** Elias' POV
My father finally met his end, just as well all anticipated. And while I thought that I've done my best to ease my pain, by putting some type of barrier up, it crumbled when Anthony limped into my office, bringing me the startling news.
Pushing my chair back, I rushed past Anthony, running through the massive corridors to my father's room since we had transferred rooms after the party. He was settled in one of the guest rooms, wheezing and breaking out in a sweat when I stumbled in.
Meeting Rebecca's blueish-green eyes as she sensed my presence, in her eyes there was a sadness to the point where she staggered in her chair, and through the bond everything that she felt from shock to confusion to grief as she released my father's hand.
