The hall became deathly silent as they waited for the Crown Prince's arrival. Counting the seconds in my head, I waited until I could hear Elias' footsteps echo in the hallway, before pausing at the doors to the throne room.
That second felt like an eternity, especially when I haven't seen him yet this morning which was a daily habit. If I at least see him once in the morning then I can feel at ease for the rest of the day as I handle countless things.
As he pushed open the large doors to the throne room, he wore a small smirk as he watched all the ladies squeal at his handsomeness, but I kept my cool. I was drawn to the sword on his left side, with the ruby on the end of the hilt, before dragging my eyes up to his face where for once his soft brown hair was styled out of his face.
'Thank you, Anthony!' I thought to myself as I imagined the fit that Elias threw this morning.
