Staring at her, I leaned against the door frame in a daze by her beauty, as she continued to scan the papers in her hand. Shaking my head subtly, attempting to return to the present, and when I did, I was lucky that I didn't disturb her train of thought as I watched her bring down the pen to sign the document.
Taking advantage of that perfect time, I reached to knock on the open door. "Can I come in?" I asked aloud, standing there until she acknowledged me with her bright blueish-green eyes.
She looked up from the document for a second to give me a warm smile before waving her hand indicating that I could walk in. Smiling, I walked through the grand entrance to stand in front of her desk, where she moved on to the next document.
"How long have you been standing at my door, Your Highness?" She asked aloud and I raised a brow as she addressed me formally before letting out a small chuckle.
