Watching the young man rush up the marble stairs in an eager mood to tell my mother about my return I smiled. I let out a small sigh, glancing down at the hysterical lady in my arms who was slowly regaining her composure after soaking my shoulder with her tears.
"Rebecca you've grown since you've left." She murmured as she pulled back to get a good look at me. The few other ladies that were still around, nodded their heads in agreement, as they were taking a couple of seconds to study the changes.
My hair has gotten longer since I've gone away where I've managed to keep it in good health despite being on the ocean. Every six months I trimmed my hair, along with the other crew members as they like to keep their hair short. My body was more filled out, I still had my slim body, but now I had muscles that were prominent after manning the ship, and just training in general.
