After a week of staying in the Vikings' land, I've been busy visiting the town, sharing stories with Lady Mary, and handling other things that related to the rest of my journey. I let the others loose because it was the once chance of a break for them.
Deciding that it was time to meet with Erik about the indebtedness, I sent a request yesterday and he replied within a couple of hours asking me to meet up with him the next day. Now I was walking into his office dressed in my uniform with my hair braided to the side, carrying my sword to my side.
"You know, I've always wanted a sword that nice. Remarkably, you've kept it in great shape for so long." He indicated to the sword in my hand, eyeing the dragon hilt.
"It wasn't an easy piece to come across, it was customized by Elias and the native tribe in Belfare," I replied and he nodded his head smiling as he watched me talk about my sword with pride.
