"Hey, Captain!" Carlos called out, as he set down his plate that was heaping full of food. I glanced up from the newspaper to glare at the young man, but he just shrugged his shoulders taking the seat across from me.
"What do you want?" I asked in an annoyed tone, as he seemed very energetic this morning. I didn't know if it was because Zariah kissed him before walking out of the restaurant or he was just chipper this morning in general.
"Oh, I just wanted to catch up on whatever was needed." He shrugged his shoulders and I let out a tired sigh, turning my focus to the large massive window where it overlooked the port. Since it was early in the morning, most of Rebecca's crew was sitting in the small restaurant eating their fill before finding something to occupy themselves until her return.
The days are getting warmer, an indication that we could finally get moving on the waters, however, there hasn't been word from Rebecca since that night.
