Waking up in the middle of the night, feeling chills going down my spine and the back of my neck hair standing up. Although it wasn't rare for me to wake up in the middle of the night, this wasn't like other nights that I wake up. This time I'm sure I wasn't alone on my ship.
It's been two days since we've docked at a small port, and all of my crew left chose to stay in the port, specifically in a motel that was on the far side. Even though I booked a room for my stay, I found myself returning to the ship, sleeping in the cabin.
I've snuck out of the hotel during the night, avoiding most of my crew members as I walked the long way to my ship, in the pitch-black evening. Without a doubt, Zayn has caught on, since he walks up to the ship during morning rounds, with a tired look on his face. And when he sees me on the main deck -either reviewing work or looking out in the distance- there is a frown on his features.
