"You're telling me that Duchess Willow, decided to leave without telling me goodbye!" I dashed to the meeting pavilion to see my father, brother, and that arrogant general that disliked Becca sitting around a table, with a document on the table.
"Daughter, I'm busy." My father spoke to me in a cold tone, and I scoffed loudly. Not bothering to slip out of my shoes as I walked over to the general who widen his eyes, seeing me disregard a common curtsey.
Lukas rose from his seat, but he was too late, as my hand slapped the general's cheek, and no one dared to breathe. The general's brown eyes dilated as he stared into my narrowed brown eyes, as I knew he had something to do with Becca's disappearance.
