Waking up to the first rays of light, in the medicine woman's hut, I let out an exhausted sigh, shifting in the sturdy old bed, that was handmade by the village carpenter.
I don't remember what time I was carried into the hut, but I remember how there was a concern in both of their voices when I was brought in, as they spoke in their language. Both the Chief and the medicine woman.
Staring at the ceiling, I stayed silent, wrapped up in the gray blanket that was provided. I listened to nature sing her song, the birds chirping, the wind lightly picking up, and the bright rays of sunlight coming through the window.
Spring has brought many new colors to the scene, lots of bright colors to help with my mood at any point of the day. My favorite thing about spring is when you walk to any body of water and look at the reflection, no matter where you are.
