"I'm not weak," I replied after he said the statement and he dragged his palm over his face like he was slowly losing energy when he was around me. Which it was amusing to see him lose his calm composer, as he was around me, he still acts like a teen, even though he's hundreds of years old. When his hand dropped to his side again, I had to hide my chuckle.
"I never said you were. You're always defensive." He chided and I rolled my eyes before getting back to the sword dance.
Counting the steady beat under my breath, I moved fluidly across the floor, creating a small story with the moves that had twirls, some front flips, and a perfect balance with the blade. It started slow, then quickened as it was supposed to get the watchers on their toes to wonder what would happen next, then it would slow down, creating suspense.
