"Lady Rebecca!" Elias called out excitedly as he rushed across the arena floor, before stopping in his tracks when he saw Kara standing close behind me. He narrowed his eyes while considering her carefully from head to toe as she did to him.
She was in a fancy purple dress that Mother decided to dress her up in, it was surprisingly lightweight with about five layers, and there were many ruffles to it. She wore a pair of sandals since she still liked wearing sandals in this fall weather.
Mother put me in a pink dress, that also had many layers, but instead of ruffles is just had a silky look. The sleeves had bell sleeves, paired with a pair of black ankle boots. A simple look for such an extravagant event.
Both of us wore our hair pulled back, with a fancy hair clip. Hers was a butterfly that had sapphires and diamonds, while mine was the gold pink rose design which I've paired with plenty of outfits.
