"You know it's getting more tempting to ask the King to allow us to stay longer, even though we've been here for three weeks." I muttered under my breath, before smiling when I heard someone sit next to me. Setting down the quill I was writing with, I turned to the newcomer and caught him gazing at me.
"You could move in," Elias replied, paired with a shrug and I let out a small giggle. Looking at the garden near the waterfall, I reached out to pick a blue flower, but stopped, not wanting to pick the beautiful thing.
"Eventually, I'll have to leave. Although the King doesn't seem to mind, I know my parents and grandparents are getting tired of the palace. It's been an interesting experience, unlike at home where I handle some things, they refuse here. I can't even make my bed!" I exclaimed and he smiled at the small joke.
