*** Rebecca POV
From the other side of the door, I could hear Elias breathing, as he fell asleep. I've stayed in that spot listening to his steady breaths, as a sign of comfort which I needed. He has done this for the past couple of days, falling asleep at my door, to make sure I had someone.
There was a reason why I've locked myself up in this room, the execution of Arnold James, has taken a lot of me. For two years, I fought hard to eliminate him, and now that he was gone, I've been thinking of things that I could do, to rest my mind.
However, I can't think of anything. The cries of Lady James echoed in my mind, as she and Jonas glared in my direction, like I was the one at fault, never mind the crimes that man did.
