Stepping into the empty throne room, I took in a deep breath, preparing myself for the meeting. It was just the King and me, and he cleared off his schedule, to meet with me, to speak about my journey.
"Your Majesty." I tipped my head, as I stepped on the red carpet, that led to the throne. Where the old man nodded his head, acknowledged me, as he was waking from a small nap. Which all of us need in the next couple of days. Stopping a couple of feet away from the first step that led to the throne, I dropped to my knees, looking in the far distance.
"Lady Willow, stand up." I raised my head, meeting his green eyes that had a hint of worry written in them, as I slightly winced as my wound twitched. I was also tired from the layers of fabric I was forced to wear under Mother's orders.
