"Rebecca! Wait here, while I go get some swelling medicine." Carlos reached me, as I stepped down the hill, aware of the mark on my cheek, and that's why I didn't come down, until dusk. Carlos looked between the Captain and me, before shaking his head.
"Whose fault?" He asked as he spread out a blanket, indicating that I should take a seat, which I do, wincing at the sudden pain, but took in a deep breath to distract me. Carlos put together a poultice, smearing it on my cheek, as I decided to not say anything until I felt the immediate relief.
"It wouldn't matter anyway, since you always protect your Captain," I muttered while brushing off the sand, rising after he put on the medicine, and he let out a sigh.
"Did he have a valid reason, to leave a mark on you?" He rose with me, and his purple eyes searched my whole body looking for any other wounds, and I just smirked before letting out a sigh.
