"Why do you stay with them?" Elder Rosemary asked, and I touched the warm glass of Rosehip tea, and I frowned, I knew who she was referring to, and often I've questioned why I haven't escaped yet.
"We have a 50/50 deal, I take them to their treasure while visiting the Elders, without them knowing, however, there were a couple of times it's been close." I set the tea back on its plate while lowering my eyes, gritting my teeth.
"Something is bothering you, what is it?" She asked while rising from her seat behind the deck, grabbing a box from a cubby with other scrolls stacked neatly.
"Nanny Rosy," I muttered then chided myself, 'this dragon has a title, she is no longer your nanny.' and she turned at the name, waiting for me to continue. "Elder, I'm worried I'll be too late to help Belfare." I balled up my fist and she chuckled.
