"Good morning, Mason." I worriedly glanced in Alex's direction, and he nodded his head, in a form of acknowledgment.
"Here's a cup of tea for you." He pushed the small mug in my direction, and I took the cup of sweetened green tea since almost everyone knew how I like my tea, after watching me drink it early in the morning.
One thing that I've come to notice while traveling with the crew, is that they do respect the ladies on the ship. Keeping them protected like their treasures, and they've always been worried about me at the slightest sneeze. Which made me realize not to judge a book by its cover.
"How long has he been out?" I pointed to Alex, who stirred slightly, as the smell of sausage and bacon filled the air. Mason looked over his shoulder, blue eyes, dulling like he didn't want to talk about it.
"It was a long night for him, a long, night." He stressed the word long, as he scrunched his nose as something bothered him.
