Peering over the balcony overseeing the New Year's Ball, watching how many people seemed to be in a good mood. Those who could make it to the party arrived in thick dresses/suits, covered in furs to keep the warmth. And others stayed by the fireplace since they weren't satisfied with the temperature.
Bobbing my head to the classical music, I hummed a harmony, while watching the others dance to the music perfectly, with a couple of young children among the crowd. However, there were a lot of the girls that came, who were waiting to see if I'll come down for a dance, but this was not the night.
"Ehem." My father cleared out his throat, until he got my attention, indicating that he wanted to talk.
