"Your Highness, here is the report for the past month." Alfred handed me a piece of paper with the statistics of the country's welfare. I've decided to take over some of the tasks that the King does because his health was deteriorating.
"What exactly has James done over the past week?" I asked, noticing how even the numbers were, like there was no disturbance in the government.
Father has slacked off on his work, only because both Ryan and I have been cautiously waiting for James's move. And James has been unnervingly quiet since Mysteria left, really, the whole Council has been that way.
"Councilor James has done his affairs diligently, only rarely leaving his office when demanded of. He's been on top of things, but I've noticed there has been a messenger bird leaving his office at late hours." I looked from the sheet, letting my face show my concern.
