My father looked between us, sweeping his vivid green on us, as we just spoke the latest sentence in unison. I knew he was tired, between having to deal with Ryan's much-needed outburst, and my next possible question, the King could already feel his social battery drain.
"This meeting is finished, you can continue working for the rest of the day, or I can let you leave, to calm yourself." King Flames looked in Ryan's direction, meeting his watery brown eyes, as he was trying to hold his tears in.
"I'll take my leave, Your Majesty. I'll be going home." He reached for the stack of paper in front of him, taking in deep breathes as the King and I watched him and closed them as he turned away from the table, taking the back exit in the meeting room, to the parking lot.
