"And you didn't answer mine, Miss Willow." The doctor spoke in a firm tone, and I just turned my focus on the man. I somehow felt annoyed by the fact how he wasn't subtle about speaking my name, for if Ayden heard, it was another disregarded body.
Yet, I was relieved that I didn't have to hide the fact, that I was indeed a missing person.
"Fine, but when speaking to me, call me by my first name, it would be a shame if a pleasant man was disposed of." I yanked my blankets back, before climbing comfortably in bed, glancing back to his green eyes.
"Disposed of? Young lady. from where I come from, those threats mean nothing. I'm not scared of a couple of pirates, I'm just worried about you." He took a seat in the unoccupied chair, and meet my eyes, and within them, I could see his seriousness.
Although he was right, he lived at a port, which means that he deals with all kinds of brash customers. Pirates were nothing for him, especially well-mannered ones.
