"So your name is Rebecca, what's your last name?" An old man with salt and pepper hair, wearing a white coat walked into the room, glimpsing over me, before dragging a seat over to sit by my bedside. Handing the empty bowl to the nurse, watching as she took the hint and left the area, rather quickly.
"I don't tell anyone," I replied, while gently taking out the IV, noticing him panicking as I did it, but let out a sigh of relief when it came out cleanly. Setting it on the table, I noticed a note under the vase of flowers, which seemed overlooked by the two staff members.
"What are you doing with a crew of pirates?" I turned my focus back on the doctor, he had green eyes that were narrowed as I continued to dodge his questions. His brows scrunched together as we continued our staring contest, not wavering until he let out a defeated sigh.
