I watched him rise from the ground, and leave the room to enter another unknown room, leaving me in the front living room with a thin blanket wrapped around me, looking out the window.
I couldn't bring myself to say something against his order, not when he was expressing that he wanted me to be safe and out of harm's way. But I hated thinking about being left here, even if it was to recover.
I flinched when I heard a pot drop to the ground from the room that Elias was in, confirming that he was in a kitchen. After a bit, he returned with a bowl of water, that had a rag halfway dipped, and a water bottle tucked under his arm.
"How long till you set out again?" I asked, watching him carefully place the bowl on the coffee table while holding out the water bottle to me. Taking it out of his hands, he turned around to enter another room, returning with a thicker blanket and pillow that I was grateful to see.
