"Sorry, it was just sudden," I muttered while taking his outstretched hand, pulling myself off the ground. Once I was standing up, he made me spin around, checking for any injuries, even though I was fine. Twirling for his sake, I took in a deep breath, as I felt dizzy from the lack of food.
Taking his arm, I let out a small chuckle as I steadied myself. He lowered his head, where his eyes were leveled with mine, and I leaned, taking advantage of his sturdy posture, as support. "You just told me you were fine, are you in pain?" He gently wrapped his arm around my waist.
"I have no injuries, I just haven't eaten these past couple of days," I replied, nodding to the bed. He took the hint and walked me to the queen size bed. The bedsheets were rose gold, with at least three fluffy pillows, the quilt was folded back. Crawling into the bed, I grabbed a pillow, holding it like a teddy bear.
