"Your Highness, are you sure you are okay? These past couple of days, you've been sick recently, which is unlike you. Should I call for a physician?" Alfred asked as he placed down a tray with hot tea and small cakes.
"If you call having sudden chills and possible visions, in need of a doctor, I say no. It's nothing that they can help me with." I flipped the next page, wiping the cold sweat off my forehead, and winced at my sore bones.
"But you look unwell." He started and I stopped reading to look up to him.
"I'll call it a night when I finish with the papers, I promise." I raised my right hand, and he narrowed his eyes at me, then at the stack.
"I'll trust you, but make sure you go easy on yourself." He replied after grabbing the laundry basket, leaving the room soundlessly. Watching him leave, I waited until the door was closed before I looked back down at my work.
