Chereads / Trancending Mortality / Chapter 3 - Dead-end.

Chapter 3 - Dead-end.

Huang Changyong opened his eyes and a question popped in his mind 'Can I trust them?'

Huang Changyong suffered a lot in his past life and learned many lessons one of the most important is that there are very few trustworthy people. He passed the stage of nihilism with the thoughts like "you can't trust anyone", but he knew that all people even unconsciously had their profit it mind and most of the time they were ready to sacrifice the trust others had on them.

Huang Changyong's memories were fuzzy probably because his current mind didn't have the capacity to hold all the information that he knew about the future, but with just the few things he remembered he has sure that it wasn't something that he could overcome without help.

Huang Changyong put workout pants on and went for some jogging to relax.

Huang Changyong went to the park near his dormitory and ignore the looks of other gave him.

"The mess that the previous Huang Changyong left me was going to influence his mother."

Thinking his mother almost tears left his eyes. How many times in his past longed to see his mother again and give her his love as she did to him, but alas he has a scumbag she died and then he realized what he lost. Huang Changyong' mother Huang Rose was the sole reason he was in the University of the Three-River City as he was a below average student. She

'This world's Huang Changyong was even worse than me I at least has talent in criminal activity. This bastard has caught in the first thing he did.

'This world's Rose was as good to him as my mother was to me; Rest in peace fellow Huang Changyong. I will take care of your mother in this life as I would mine.'

Huang Changyong felt a relief in his chest.

'Seems like the previous owner's soul finally left.'

Huang Changyong' mind worked like crazy as he was trying to find the best way to move forward. He didn't care about Alexander Blake he was thinking to leave Three-River City anyway as the pressure that his mother would have to endure back at home wasn't something he even wanted to think about. His mind was at the big problems ahead firstly the isolation of his country, the Yellow Republic, from the Western Alliance which lead to povertization and then the awakening of the superpowers which lead to anarchy was just the smallest problem he had to face.

'Even if I gained personal strength in the future that would only protect my safety for a while and at the end I would just become a pawn of "them".

'The only choice is to join the Panhuman alliance's forum to exchange things from there and as for the quests I simply wouldn't do them if are against my morals. I will not do the same mistakes again!'
