"Urgh…"
William felt that his head was in splitting pain when he woke up for a moment. Afterwards, he felt very refreshed and tried to lift his hand. Upon sensing that the power he needed to move his body was lower, William narrowed his eyes.
He did grow stronger.
"You're awake?"
"Yeah. How long I'm out?" William asked and straightened his body.
Yakov tilted his head. "Around four hours give or take. We encountered several more mutated Xermo but most of them can be dealt with bullets. There's no need for your help even if you're awake."
"Oh." Stretching out, William turned his body to the back and saw that the people were still following him. He furrowed his brows. "We have enough gas?"
"We stopped for a while," Yakov explained. "There's a place that's covered in Xermo, so we wait until the horde pass since it's impossible to beat so many without you around." And even with you, we would not want to be so reckless.
