The sound attracted them and an explosion occurred right behind them. William knew that they had reached the entrance and promptly slower the speed. He knocked the window using his free hand.
"Tell them to slow down now."
"Y…yes!"
The sound of the explosion could be heard once more and William glanced to the front. The sight of soldiers firing heavy firearms and probably missile somehow relaxed his heart. He knew this place was their base, but he had to act as if he didn't know because the code was never leaked to normal policeman like his identity suggested him to be.
He stopped the truck right at the time several other vehicles appeared not far from him. The car behind him had also stopped and the people inside looked at the soldiers with complicated feelings.
Some of them were excited while some parts of them were also afraid.
"Get out of the car," the soldier ordered.
