-Caramba is really the newspaper Realidade, the most respected in São Paulo, I can't believe I'm finally going to make my dream come true - He said smiling.

He looked at the entrance, puffed out his chest, lifted his glasses, took a step forward and stumbled on the curb and fell face down on the floor and groaned in pain, he kneeled down and with his eyes closed sought the glasses, people on the sidewalk they passed over him and kicked his glasses.

-Oh damn where are my glasses !? I can't see anything without it.

He searched for a minute until a girl appeared, picked up his glasses, wiped them and put them on Tulio's face.

-O-Thank you - He said getting up and adjusting his glasses.

Tulio looked at the girl for two seconds, she has glasses on her forehead, the girl touched a voice recorder to Tulio's mouth, he pulled away and rolled his eyes.

-My name is Clarice, what's yours? What are you doing here? Where do you live? Do you want a cookie? - She said pushing the recorder.

-Tú-Túlio, I'm here for the job of reporter, in room nine of the Brasão apartment eee n-n-nã-no, but thanks.

-Aaa got it, wait what?

Clarice turned on the voice recorder and heard Túlio's responses again.

Túlio's eyes widened at Clarice.

-A-I think it's better for me to go in - He said passing by her, he ran into the newspaper, and stopped in the middle of the room full of tables around with people drinking coffee and a chandelier on the ceiling and sighed.

He walked to the reception looking around, when he turned around and bumped into a man with a tuft and dropped the papers he was holding.

-I'm sorry I'm a clumsy one - Said the man bending down.

-Oh my God you-you are A-Arnaldo, the anchor of the newspaper Realidade d-excuse.

Tulio knelt down, picked up the papers and stood up.

-I-I'm just a big fan of your work.

Arnaldo took the papers and touched Túlio's right shoulder.

-Thank you kid, I'm also a big fan of your work.

Arnaldo walked to the elevator, Túlio touched his right shoulder and smiled.

-M-Me-My name is Túlio - He said with his hands on the side of his mouth.

Arnaldo turned and pointed at him walking on his back.

-Good job boy! - Said Arnaldo entering the elevator.

The elevator closed and went up to the third floor, Túlio lowered his hands and looked around and saw the people drinking coffee looking at him, he covered his face with his right hand and walked to the reception babbling.

The receptionist is reading a fashion magazine with her elbows on the table, Túlio pressed the bell once, and stood for five minutes, the girl put the magazine down and looked at him from top to bottom and said with a singing smile.

-Forgive I think you were wrong no one here asked for pizza.

-N-Actually I-I'm here for the job of a reporter.

The girl looked him up and down again and told him to go up the stairs, he went up the stairs and walked to the waiting line, four chairs lined up on the right of the head office with two women sitting on the two on the right, he sat in the last from the left with a chair space between him and them and cringed.

Clarice walked to the waiting line, sat down next to her and her face turned red, she looked at him and said.

-You're ooo ... Wait, don't speak - She took the tape recorder from her pocket and called - Túlio isn't.

-Umh, y-you're also here for a reporter job?

-Yes, I'm cute, but what I really want is to be the anchor, but you know how it is, right? We have to start from the bottom, in your case you already came prepared, right? - She said putting her hand on his head.

-What did she mean?

A girl left the office and went down the stairs, the boss called the next one, Túlio walked to the door and put his hand on the knob with shaking legs, Clarice wished him luck and winked at him, he smiled at her and her legs shook Even more.

-I-That e-was it a help? - He thought.

Clarice laughed with her hand over her mouth.

Túlio entered the office with a view of the city, sat down in front of the boss and said that he came to the position of reporter, Dona Vera in a female suit, looked him up and down, lowering his glasses and pouting.

-We only have one vacancy as a janitor if you want.

Tulio spent two seconds looking at her.

-Ma-But-look, and-I'm-I'm graduated in journalism, you're here, my diploma, you can check it out if you want, - he said, taking the diploma out of his chest pocket.

-Let me see

She picked up the diploma and threw it on the mountain of papers that were left on the left, the paper hit the mountain and bounced to the ground.

- What diploma were you talking about?

Tulio fell silent.

-Look boy, I want a janitor here, I can't see that this place is a mess - She said, pointing her index finger up and turning - It's a good job for a beginner, if you get a good story you might have the chance to become a reporter , until then what do you think about cleaning some floors huh?

-Umhum, where do I sign?

-Well here - she said holding out the contract and pen.

He signed the contract and became a janitor for the most respected newspaper in São Paulo, Dona Vera told him to go to the cleaning room in hall nine, as soon as he left Clarice came in and he heard her and Dona Vera laughing inside the office, Clarice went out and raised his hand holding the contract.

-I'm the new reporter for the newspaper, what did Túlio think?

Túlio's jaw dropped and he watched her with his mouth open.

-Are you still there, boy? Want to lose your job !? When you get back, start at my office - said Dona Vera.

At four o'clock in the afternoon Túlio wiped the sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief after cleaning the building, leaned on the broom and breathed with his tongue out.

-Extra! Extra! The statue of the writer Calixto has just been stolen! - Said the narrator on TV.

Túlio looked at the ceiling TV on the left.

-The statue of the writer Calixto was just stolen, it could be found in the park of flowers - A picture of the statue appeared, she is standing reading a book - She was found missing by the janitor who cleaned her every day, Thais is up to you - Arnaldo said on TV.

-When I came to clean the statue, now it was just a few minutes ago she was missing - Said the cleaner to the reporter.

Túlio's eyes shone and he ran to the place, he arrived at the park and saw a crowd of reporters taking pictures and asking questions to the mayor who did not answer anything and just asked everyone to calm down, Túlio entered the crowd, the reporters they impacted him, he walked to the strip, took three pictures and saw something, a trail of rust marks from the statue to the corner, a reporter punched Túlio's camera and knocked her over.

-Stay in your kid, don't mess with that.

Túlio frowned, took the camera and followed the trail looking at the ground for five minutes, he bumped into a man who told him to pay more attention, he looked back at the trail and saw that it was over, he raised his head and looked to the left, to the closed municipal library, it is made of bricks and has three floors, he looked up and saw the second floor window swinging open with a ladder underneath, he went up the ladder and entered the library standing on top of a bookcase, he looked around and heard the sound of books falling, he jumped off the shelf and tiptoed forward.

He entered the book corridor and saw the statue trying to take a book from the shelf and dropping them on the floor, he tiptoed to the statue and touched the statue's arm.

The statue screamed, Tulio screamed and covered his mouth with both hands.

-Ui ui ui coming out of the closet baby? - Said the statue.

Tulio took his hands from his mouth, opened his eyes wide, pointed at the statue and shouted.

-Yo-you're talking!

-Xiiiii - Said the statue with the finger in front of the mouth.

-How is this possible? - Asked Julius.

-A supernatural touch I would say - replied the statue.

-I'm not, and what are you doing here? Oh you know it doesn't matter, you caused a lot of confusion and you need to go back to the monument

Tulio took the statue's hand and pulled but it remained in the same place.

-Rumf, I was trying to get a book to read but I can't because of that damn book soldered in my hands since 1800 - She raised her hands to her chest - I've read it a thousand times but I can't get it out of my hands.

-If I put a new book in your hands, do you promise to return to the monument?

-It's fine with me, as long as it's big and thick.

-Taaa legaaal, get me up - The statue bent down, Tulio straddled her back and she stood up, Tulio rummaged through the bookcase looking for the book the statue wanted.

-What is your name? - Asked the statue.

-Tú-Túlio - He replied.

Tulio took a ten-thousand-page book and placed it in front of the statue's face.

- Is that good? He asked.

-It's great! - Said the statue touching the knees and lifting the lower eyelid.

Túlio left the statue's back and took a glue from his pocket.

-Why do you carry a glue with you? - Asked the statue raising his hands to his belly.

-M-my glasses break all the time, so it is always good to have a glue in hand - Said Túlio putting glue on top of the statue's soldier book and nailing the ten thousand pages book.

-She dries quickly so it's okay if we go now.

Tulio took the ladder, took it to the window and the statue accompanied him, he put it in front of the bookcase under the window that he entered and climbed, the statue then went up, they stayed on top of the bookcase and looked out the window, the street it was empty, except for a guard in front of the library under a tree.

Oh, damn it, what are you going to do? - Asked the statue.
