The maidservant notified General Su about Su Yuxin coming over to meet him.
The old man was happy that his granddaughter was coming over. So, he sent his guards away and started to wait for his beloved grand daughter.
Su Yuxin arrived at her grandpa's courtyard.
"Young Miss, General is waiting for you."
Su Yuxin nodded her head and went in.
"Grandpa, where you waiting for me for too long?"
Su Yuxin asked in a concerned voice.
"Not at all, Xiner. Why have you come to your grandfather?"
Su Yuxin smiled warmly.
"Grandfather, do you have some money?"
Su Yuxin planned to buy slaves at black market but thinking of the masked man. She thought not to go back there again and buy slaves with Lu Xiu.
She had spiritual stones but no golds or silver taels . In black market she could use spiritual stones but in normal shops she couldn't.
So she was in an urge need of money.
"What do you want money for, Xiner? If you have anything to buy, I will ask the servants to bring it to you."
General Su asked raising his eyebrows.
Su Yuxin rubbed her nose and smiled;
"I'm going to buy some slaves who can be my subordinates. So I need to go by myself to choose them."
"Xiner, here you can have the key to our family treasury. Take the money and buy as much subordinate as you can. From now on whenever you need money, you can go there and take it."
General Su said placing the key on Su Yuxin hand.
Su Yuxin hold the key and hold his arm acting coquettishly happy.
"Grandpa, you spoil me so much."
Hearing her words, General Su mood improved even more. Seeing his granddaughter acting so affection with him. He was really joyful.Even his face was filled with pleasure.
"If I don't spoil my Xiner, who should I spoil? Now go to do your business. And return home fast."
"Then, I will be going grandfather."
After saying that Su Yuxin stood up and walked out.
A carriage was moving in one of the busiest street of Wu Kingdom.
Inside the carriage, there were two people.
Su Yuxin had her eyes closed while leaning on her seat. While Lu Xiu was biting her fingernails being anxious.
"Young Miss, Are you sure it's good idea to come out without guards and bring a carriage without General Mansion insignia? Won't General scold you if he find out?"
"It will be alright, Lu Xiu. Don't worry. Look out we reached the slave market already."
Saying that Su Yuxin jumped out of carriage.
"Young Miss, don't jump what if you fall? Wait for me!"
Lu Xiu shouted running out of carriage was about to trip when Su Yuxin suddenly grabbed her then pulled Lu Xiu towards herself preventing Lu Xiu from tripping.
It all happened so suddenly that Li Xiu head became dizzy.
"Y-young M-Miss"
"Idiot, you were warning me but you almost fell yourself. What should I do with this girl?"
Su Yuxin said in a teasing distress voice.
Lu Xiu stabilised herself then pouted.
"It's Young Miss fault jumping from the carriage. You made this servant panic."
"Hoho, your talking back to me, your young miss now."
Su Yuxin said in a teasing tone.
Lu Xiu who thought she was serious started panicking.
"I didn't mean to young miss. Please forgive me."
Lu Xiu said while lowering her head.
Su Yuxin seeing her lower her head sighed internally.
"I am not mad. I am happy that you are finally saying your thoughts. Do not lower your head. I had told you to always look at me while speaking."
"Yes, young miss." Lu Xiu said looking at her.
Su Yuxin gave a small smile and then walked toward the slave market. Lu Xiu slowly followed her.
