We have zero visibility inside the room. But I know full well that Levi could navigate it easily like the back of his hands.
"You're mine ATLAS!"
I shouted with a threatening tone.
I know that Levi heard my voice from behind him because his heart rate suddenly pumped at the mention of the word ATLAS.
But he probably thought of finishing his business first as he unexpectedly chose to run in the opposite side of the room, where I can hear the clanging sounds of Kyle's dagger and what seemed to be a modified Karambit of Darren's handcuffs.
I also rushed towards their location to redirect Levi's focus back to me. But I was a tad too late.
After I heard Kyle's knife slashing Darren in chest, Levi violently tackled him out of the giant glass window.
The 2 of them then fell out and onto the the balcony of the second floor.
Darren did not gain a single borken bone from that fall, because he skillfully maneuvered in the air and used Levi's body to cushion him.
But Levi still stood up like the undead, and started realigning his bones again.
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT WITH ME NOW?!" Darren shouted at Levi before he dashed at him again.
While Darren defended Levi's assault, I was also about to follow them down when Kyle suddenly attacked from behind.
He threw a bunch of slashes and stabs at me. I was almost stabbed once but I still managed to evade all of it. Even with Kyle having the ability to predict my actions.
"How can you dodge all of that?" Kyle asked somewhere inside the smoke filled room.
"Vision is not everything." I answered before I jumped down the window.
The height was not that high, but I still needed to grab hold of a ledge from the mansion wall and drop down again to avoid a broken bone.
When I got down to the balcony, Levi threw a heavy punch at Darren but was dodged after Darren rolled to the right.
Levi ended up punching the stone railings of the balcony and obliterated it.
One hit from Levi's brass knuckled punch could crack a skull.
Darren was already having a hard time with his mobility due to the large wound on his chest, so Levi instantly got in front of him when he continued his assault.
Levi kneed the left eye of the wounded Darren and gave him a black eye, before he punched him in the solar plexus.
Darren coughed out a lot of blood and started to lose his balance.
He walked limply towards the edge of the balcony and was about to be punched again by Levi, but I barely stopped him after I kicked Levi's right knee and snapped it.
He made a disgruntled look and threw a punch at me. But I managed to evade that close proximity punch by doing a cartwheel and distancing myself.
Levi realized counteracted and threw one of his brass knuckle at me right after I steadied myself after my cartwheel.
I could hear the vibration of the heavy brass whirring in the air. I dodged it in time after it almost hit my chin, but I did accidentally bit my lip when I raised my chin to evade it.
Darren, who was supporting his body with the stone railings of the balcony, finally lost his consciousness and fell down in front of the mansion.
Levi asked me as he panted heavily
"How did you know....about..project ATLAS?"
I answered
"Hear thy fear, feel thy hell, see thy future without thou...Remember now?...I've never forgotten that robotic voice of yours as you uttered those mockery before nearly killing me...back then, everytime I won my battles, I would always whispered that phrase in the ears of my enemies."
".....Agent VIII.....So you came for a personal hit....I beat you once...I'll do it again."
After Levi uttered those words we heard a gunshot fire nesrby on the entrance of the balcony.
I knew that it was Kyle who fired that gun, so it can only mean one thing.
The bullet was meant for.
The first shot missed us, but the next one hit Levi in the left side of his abdomen when I rushed at him to use him as a shield.
I looked at the source od the gunshot and saw Kyle holding the same type of gun that Manchusa executives possesed.
I already knew that it only had 3 shots so he's down to his last bullet already.
Kyle was still pointing his gun at me, but I was still using Levi as a shield by restraining him in the neck and the right arm.
Levi might not be aware of the gun only containing 3 bullets as he was panicking really hard.
Kyle was still pointing his gun at us and started to slowly walk to our location.
He then took the knife he used earlier to stab Darren, and shot Levi's remaining good knee.
Levi fell down on the floor which exposed a part of my head for half a second before I lifted him up reshielded me.
Kyle used that opportunity to throw a knife at my exposed head. But no matter how abnormal his reaction time is, it would still be rendered useless if his reflexes are slower than my maximum spontaneous mobility.
So after I used Levi to shield the knife that stabbed and pierced through his right arm when he tried to desperately block it, I then threw him out the edge of the balcony and crouched like a four legged animal.
I focused all my adrenaline on my legs, released it, and sprung towards Kyle like a bullet speeding towards a target.
Kyle had enougj ability to see my trajectory, but not enough reflex to dodge me.
He was about to swerve to the right to dodge it, but he was already too late as I repositioned myself mid air and smashed his faced with my knee.
He got stunned and lost his balance, but I did not let him regain his focus and kicked the left side of his chest.
I could hear a rib cracking as he rolled near the edge of the balcony.
After a moment of space, Kyle regained his balance and slowly stood up.
I then performed another cartwheel followed by a back flip and used the momentum to drop kick Kyle out of the balcony and down the front yard, together with the unconscious Darren and the heavily wounded Levi.
I looked down the balcony and decided to simply jump straight down this time, since the height was not that high.
I then walked towards Kyle and observed the situation.
The rain started pouring lightly as I looked around me.
I'm currently standing in the rain outside of the Kazama Vacation House. Lying down nearby is an unconscious Darren with a black eye and some injuries in his upper body. The one currently under my feet, is an exhausted and beat up Kyle. And the one in front of me is Levi, with countless small wounds all over his body and was struggling to stand up. I was the only one with the most minimal wound, only a bleeding lower lip when I accidentally bit it earlier.
There's a bloody knife on the ground, a broken metal rod that was part of the balcony railings.
A bloodied brass knuckles in Levi's foot, and a modified handcuff that looks more like a pair of karambits.
We've been fighting each other for at most, an hour now, each with the intent to kill everyone present.
And the rumble was about to be concluded as I approached the closest one first.
I was about to snap Kyle's neck, when Joseph suddenly appeared from inside the house. He shouted.
"What in the living and breathing shit is going on in here?! This is some fucked up pillow fight you guys are having!"
The room we were supposed to sleep in was sound proofed. So the others only heard our fight after we switched the venue to the the outside.
The others peobably jeard the gun that Kyle shot and was now alerted.
Joseph was soon followed by Ichika, Minji, and Riza. Even the girl Priyanka appeared.
I never liked the rain. The noise of the rain drops gets amplified by my ears and its nothing but annoyance for me.
But for someone who uses eco-location to see their surroundings, the rain will be nothing but favorable and convenient. It would enable them to perfectly see the world, minus the color.
Priyanka rushed at me when she realized who the person I'm holding was.
She then took out the same gun that Kyle used earlier. She probably picked it up from the balcony we were in earlier.
Priyanka pointed the gun at me and threatened me without knowing that the gun was already useless.
"Get away from Kyle! Or I will blow your head off!"
Her arms were shaking as she pointed the gun at me with her hands. I could feel the anxiousness in her.
Everyone was looking at us and nobody dared to move an inch.
Killing Kyle in front of everyone right now would only aggravate the situation.
I am a hundred percent certain that Ichika would summon her whole clan to butcher me if I ever snapped the neck of her partner in connivance.
So I made my decision and let go of Kyle.
Priyanka rushed at the injured Kyle and embraced him, shielding him from any possible assault.
At this point, the others also rushed for aid.
Joseph rushed and lifted Darren up and placed him under the roof of the front door before Minji checked his vital signs.
While Riza supported Levi by the arm as they started walking forward.
Ichika and Priyanka also took the now unconscious Kyle towards Minji too.
Like how everyone was aware of Joseph's standing as the son of a senator, we also know that Han Minji is the daughter of Han Sang Woo, the owner of Han Pharmaceuticals and numerous branches of hospitals around the world.
She told us earlier about her childhood. How she was taught everything about medicines and medical practices since she was 5 years old. She can perform everything from ancient acupuncture to modern surgeries.
And right now, a medical genius such as Minji is exactly what everyone needs.
Riza was crying as she supported Levi up.
they continued walking for a few more paces before I blocked their way.
"Stop this already Ocho! What do you even want with Levi?!"
"There are secrets not meant to be known by the living....such secrets, Levi and I holds each others."
"I don't care about no fucking secret! Touch him and I will make sure that my whole family will cement your feet and feed you to the fishes.
Levi took his arm off of Riza he heard what she said.
"Its alright Minji. No one would come to my aid....especially since I failed my task...you will only suffer if you call for them now...this fight is between us two only...now get away from here."
Levi was having a hard time talking because of the stab and gunshot wounds his sustaining. But he still managed to stand upright again and face Riza.
"But-"
Riza was about to reason with him but Levi glared at him and released some of his bloodlust around him.
"Its dangerous here Riza...Get away already.."
I felt the dangerous amount of bloodlust from a few feet away. It felt very heavy and thick. I could only imagine how much pressure Riza after receiving that on such close proximity.
Riza was now frozen in place while Levi continied limping towards me.
The rain had finally stopped along with the tears of the immobile Riza.
She was completely terrorized by Levi.
I too felt the severity of his aura, but it did not affect me that much.
Everyone else around us did not dare to break up our fight. Even Joseph was frozen in his place as he tried rushing at us to stop out fight.
"Who sent you?" Levi asked me
"If I told you, then you would lose the benefit of the doubt."
"That may be true..But I would also know who to kill next after you and my target."
Levi stated as he started dashing at me.
His irises turned blood-red as engaged in close combat with me.
He must've regained his energy already as he was now moving fluifly again like earlier when we first fought in the room.
But he still could not hold a candle at me right now.
He was trying his best to defend his gunshot and stab wound, since it was still slowly regenerating. So most of the time, he was just defending while I kept on hitting him and landing a hard blow evdry now and then.
His attacks might've been heavier and more deadly, but mine was faster and more concentrated.
I threw another jab at his face that once again got blocled by Levi using his hand. But then he made a crucial mistake and left his chest wide open.
I focused all my strength in my right palm and used it to hit the exact position of his heart. I then quickly concentrated on my enhanced hearing and heard his heart beat slowing down.
Levi got stunned and almost lost his balance after coughing out a mouthful of blood. I then threw more palm strikes at him before I broke his knees again.
He was starting to lose his balance and was having a hard time standing. As his will power dimmed, I slowly walked and picked up the nearby knife that Kyle used.
I then went back in front of Levi to finish what I started.
Levi looked up at me as he knelt, and I saw nothing but disappointment in his eyes.
"You were a good fighter, Levi. If you haven't stopped training since that day, I might've lost to you again...Don't worry, you are my only target so everyone can keep their lives as long as they don't bother me after this."
"....Who?...And.. why?..."
It was the last words he could utter. Since I've already won, it wouldn't be a problem if I answer his dying wish.
Levi was the only person I personally liked amongst the rowdy members of the Gardening club.
We had so much in common too. He could've been a solid friend if the world didn't fuck me up so much.
"Someone who's targetting the Amontillados. He said that you're too dangerous as an enemy. I had to do it. Everyone sturggles to survive."
Levi soon lost his consciousness too and almost fell face first on the ground if I did not caught him by the hair.
I raised the the knife and was about to stab his neck, but the next second Riza suddenly appeared and used her right hand to block my finishing blow.
Her hand bled as the knife pierced through it. But her expression was far from fear and shock.
She looked at me with determination and anger in her eyes.
"Levi is not paet of the Amontillados anymore! The Changrettas have long took him in for a decade already!"
Riza shouted with full certainty.
Even if she was telling the truth, I still would have no choice but ti fight Levi to the death.
He was already very wary of me since my first day of school, so now that he's aware of my existence as an agent out to kill him he will surely stop at nothing to eliminate me.
I pulled the knife out of Riza's hand and pointed it at her.
The pain was surely very agonizing for her, but she still maintained that same look.
I swished the blood off the knofe and pointed it at her.
"Would you do anything for him?"
"If it means saving him, then I would gladly rip my heary out."
"Then how about making a deal with me."
I replied to Riza before looking back at everyone else and shouting
"In fact! How about you all make a deal with me?!"
The devil never appeared as a red skinned evil entity with horns, wings, and tail in his body.
No.
It always came and appeared in the form of our most wanted desire.
And right now. Everyone desires a peaceful conclusion. Especially after realizing that their lives are on my hand as I released every bit of killing intent mixed with bloodlust on my body and terrorizing everyone present.
Riza, Minji, Ichika, and Joseph, all fell on their knees with cold sweat and fear in their eyes.
I raised Levi's head as I grabbed his long black hair.
"Let's have a good talk after this, everyone."
