'Father?!'
The word 'surprised' is an understatement to what I felt.
I was fucking disturbed.
Everything was going so far from my expectations and was shaking me off of my advantages.
But before I could come up with an elaborate plan to snap the neck of this gorgeous lady before it's too late, I first confirmed some things.
"So he actually had a daughter huh? Are you one of those girls with daddy issues? Because I don't remember Dante mentioning anything about his daughter. Or are you just saying that to make me back away from our deal?."
"It is up to you wether you believe it or not. But I still need to confirm what you want with him."
"Nothing major. I just need to have a word with him."
"....How can you prove-"
"I can't-"
"I fucking knew-."
"You already knew the answer yet you still asked. Are you a masochist or something? I'm kinda down with that you know."
We were cutting each others sentences as if we already knew what the other would say.
She looked at me with annoyance before heaving a sigh.
"Our conversation would not go anywhere at this rate. So I'll just confirm everything on my own way."
"Oh? And how is that?"
"Just go to my apartment later, I already told you back then not to meet me at a crowded place like this."
After saying that, she drank the last bit of vodka in her glass and left the place.
I was still sitting there while thinking of the possible actions I could use to get a leverage on Director Dante using Ms. Melton if ever she was telling the truth.
'I could kill her right now and eliminate the threat of her ratting me out to the Director. Or I could use her threaten him. No, no, both seems very risky. In any case, I should prepare myself later tonight in case that Ms. Melton setup a trap for me.'
I stood up and walked towards one of the staff room and changed to my bartender uniform. I then went and took the place of another bartender manning one of the counter.
Moments after I settled, a girl with a distinct pink hair highlights approached and talked to me.
"Ms. Melton huh? Nice taste."
"Hey there Ichika. And you're welcome."
"I'm not gonna thank you. It was a deal made with mutual benefits. Anyways, because of your rather, flashy actions, every single city in ICARUS are now aware of the guy's miserable end. Poor guy got his meat scattered in the borders of Central."
"You know what I want to hear Ichika. And its not about some korean meat."
"Ah right. Well for starters I should introduce you to some of my trusted men. I'll let you order them around and do as you please. Now for the information part, I will give you a complete status report tomorrow at school. That includes the structure of the Kazama clan and some known informations regarding their connections."
"Keep your men. I don't need anyone acting as your eyes and ears to follow me around."
"Sure, your loss though. But since I'm feeling generous today, I'll let you in on some secrets I've been holding."
She winked at me as I glanced at her and gave her the drink she ordered.
I then looked at her and waited for her to reveal these little secrets of her.
"I will say 3 things. 2 of them are true while the other is a complete bullcrap. Hehe. Firstly, my friend there said she wants to hook up with you. Secondly, my dick is bigger than yours. And lastly, Kyle and I are getting married next month after his birthday."
I looked at her calmly and smirked before saying "my condolences" to her.
She laughed loudly when she heard that and drank the last bit of her juice before going back to her friends.
I did not know how to react to that. But I do know that it was a valuable intel and could potentially be used later.
Cheryl walked towards me right after Ichika left.
"Didn't realize you were such a lady killer, Amaru. An older lady and a school girl after?! What a pimp you are!"
She then proceeded to spout some nonsense like asking if I already had a girlfriend, thats until our manager noticed her slacking off.
This night had been very eventful and continued on.
My work finished normally with Cheryl occasionally chatting with me and Ichika introducing her friend to me.
The girl's name was Yang Xiao Su, she was very cute and humorous. She talked with me in the bar counter for the rest of my shift and asked me if I wanted to hang out later after my work.
I agreed whole heartedly of course. She was a nurse whom Ichika befriended when she got confined last year.
Xiao Su is currently 20 years old but she was already independent and was supporting herself. She lives at the northern part of Hermes distrcit, which was really convenient to me since Ms. Melton also lives there so I wouldn't need to travel for long after.

12 am and my shift just ended. I quickly changed back to a casual attire and left Oasis bar with Yang Xiao Su.
She had been holding back on drinking so we did not have a hard time walking towards her car.
After she waved good bye to Ichika and the others, we entered her car and I volunteered to drive her home since she had already drank a few shots.
She agreed quite quickly which confused me, but I decided to put it in the back of my head and proceeded to drive.
10 minutes later. While driving, Xiao Su suddenly stared at me while biting the tip of her nail and giggling.
She then slowly started kissing my neck and caressing my groin area.
And then she opened the zipper on my pants and took out my boy. I almost hit an incoming truck when she did this.
She started licking it, and stroking it, before she started sucking the whole thing.
After having a hard time focusing on driving, we finally arrived on Xiao Su's address while she was still doing the business.
She realized it soon and stopped as she looked in my eyes while licking her lips.
As I was about to carry her inside of her house with excitement in my eyes. Her phone rang loudly and startled the both of us.
She answered it with an irritated expression but soon changed back to an amiable one.
After the call ended she looked at me awkwardly and smiled.
"I'm...really sorry hunny. My senior just called and told me to come immediately to the hospital. I-I will make-"
"No problem. You're needed now so don't mind me. I also have some place I need to be right now so..."
After an awkward conversation between us where she explains while I reluctantly say 'its ok', I ultimately got out of her car and decided to head to Ms. Melton's suite earlier than planned while Xiao Su drove away.
When she drove far enough from where I'm standing. I stopped on my tracks and exclaimed loudly.
"Whoever it is that needed that heart transplant right now..."
I paused for a second and inhaled a lungful of air before continuing
"I HOPE YOU GET A BALL TRANSPLANT NEXT!!"
