The pirates made their way down the mountain with all the bones they could manage, some even strapping more on their backs. With every passing moment, the skies grew lighter, urging them to move faster. Time was not on their side.
The sun was about to rise moments before they made it to the large cave of the traitor pirates. Ilona had hoped to never enter this place again, but they didn't have a choice. They all hurried in with the bones and headed for the tunnels in the back, hoping to get them deep enough in the ground that the females wouldn't be able to smell them out. Ilona had to keep her attention away from the ground, where blood still stained the stone and dirt.
